Sassan Masserat has a broad range of business and legal experience.He practices in the areas of civil and business litigation, and general business law. He also focuses on international business matters. His fluency in Italian, French and Farsi expands his capacity to better service his clients in the international arena.
Sassan was brought up and educated in Italy. He earned a degree with honors in Business Administration, Finance at California State University, Northridge. He graduated with honors from Southwestern University School of Law. Prior to becoming a member of the California bar, he worked for a number of years in the financial services and investment banking industries, where he gained experience in compliance and regulatory matters. He also clerked for a Federal Judge.
Sassan is a member of the Board of Governors of the Italian American Lawyers Association, a Member of the Board of the Anti Defamation League, where he is also the Chair of the International Affairs Committee, and has been designated by the Italian Consul as a preferred lawyer ("Avvocato di Fiducia").
Sassan has been invited by foreign governments and organizations to speak and lecture about US business and US Law, and has traveled as far as South Korea, Turkey, Italy and a variety of European countries on behalf of his clients.
Sassan is also Pro Tempore Judge, at the California State Supreme Court.
